Smoky Mountain Pilates is a private Pilates studio in the Tri-Cities area, offering only solo and duo sessions. Mind-body connection and an educated approach together make your experience both excellent and effective.

Anna has state-of-the-art Pilates Reformers plus all the accessories needed to round out a full workout. The 9 Principles of Pilates are always utilized and you will FEEL the benefits: Strength under control, range-of-motion gain, healthier-more active life, better balance, coordination & flexibility and so much more!

Meet Anna Valle

CPT, GFI, CPI

Anna L. Valle is a Comprehensively Certified Pilates Instructor, Fitness Professional and former professional dancer. She maintains National Certification in Pilates through Balanced Body Pilates Education, Personal Training & Group Fitness Certification through AFAA and Fitness Nutrition with NASM. Other notable certifications are; Definitive Barre Fitness, Progressing Ballet Technique for Dancers, CTMaxx Cognitive Fitness and more. She has 14 years in the industry and has owned & managed her own Pilates and Fitness Studio. Her experience and expertise lies not only in teaching classes and private sessions, but in mentoring teachers for their professional development.

She is happily married to David (who also practices pilates), they have four adult children, two wonderful grand-kids, two cats and enjoy adventure and travel! They recently moved to NE Tennessee from SW Florida and can’t wait to build community here!

She embraces each opportunity to work with clients and has a strong passion for all things health, wellness and movement through Pilates.

  • Guidance toward your strongest self

    I had never done pilates before, and found Anna through a friend. I was recovering from abdominal surgery and was very hesitant to go into a studio setting feeling as weak as I was. I met Anna for a private lesson to explain my hesitation and she met me exactly where I was. I have never felt more seen or heard by an instructor. During private lessons, she will guide you toward the strongest version of yourself. The studio is a very intimate setting, so she’s able to give one on one attention.

  • Alleviate everyday aches and pains

    After talking with my doctor about ongoing lower pack pain, she recommended that I start doing Pilates. I’ve been taking both private mat & reformer sessions with Anna. She has taught me not only how to move through Pilates exercises, but how to stretch, how to breathe and how to strengthen my body. I know now, because of her, how to move myself to alleviate those everyday aches and pains.
